We’ve seen a lot of things since they have opened on December 29 and you’ve been there. From the traditional belly dance of the Philippines, to the recent trend of belly dance in South America and the United States, here is a rundown of what we’ve seen so far.
The good news is that I’m excited to announce there is a release date for my course.
On March 14, this year I will be releasing a new edition consisting of all new videos and a whole new website.
I’ve had a long term goal of creating an online course that could help people to learn any programming skill they desire!
Since I began this course, it’s gotten really popular but has only been available for a handful of languages, all the while generating a good deal of buzz as it goes.
As a result, I’ve gotten a lot of feedback about how I have presented the material and what sort of content I’ve put into the course. I can’t imagine that it helps people learn if we focus on the wrong things.
The point of this post isn’t to go into detail about these posts in the course, as there are dozens of such threads on Stack Overflow, on this website, or on Twitter and Facebook. Instead, the point of this article is to show examples of how something I’ve already done in the course might be improved. These can, and should, be added into future versions of the course.
What would make a great course in the future?
I’m looking forward to reading some of the responses to the course in the last few months. After seeing what others think about the course, I’ll try to figure out what sort of content I should focus on. If there are any mistakes or other objections to an episode you’ve missed, comment below to let me know.
