I started to write one in the beginning, but it was pretty simple. I started out with a sketch of the mouth and mouth parts and used the sketch as a template for making the actual puppet. I then traced the mouth parts to a cardboard sheet and used the template to make a model of the mouth and mouth, using the pattern I gave it as a guide.
There were some challenges with printing out all the parts, but not that much that I didn’t get through. This is a step by step tutorial with a ton of pictures showing how to make the puppets.
Now that you have a finished model of the puppet, it’s time to make all the details. I have made these using a lot of tips and tricks from my other tutorials, and my previous attempt at creating a mouth on a puppet failed miserably. Once again, my plan to try to make a puppet with just simple lines was not working. This time though, I realized I needed a simple line that could move back and forth and be flexible. This is where the magic happens.
This was the first time I printed my entire kit, so there might be some slight differences between my actual model and the ones I made. In the end, however, I don’t think there will be any difference between the two models.
Once those details are done, you can use these as the basis for all your other figures. You can go on and make the mouth, nose, eyes, and mouth parts, or put them all together as the puppet, and then add the limbs. That’s the basic process of creating something from what you have; you just need a basic idea of what you want to have and how to make it. It’s not very hard to learn how to make something small like a mouth and head, but it can be more difficult if you have a huge kit such as this. A lot of effort and money is spent on building a mouth for all those little eyes and mouths. The hard part is just learning this basic skill and going from there. Here is how they came out (as well as some of the rest of the details): I think I like how the eyes look! I think this is the only thing that didn’t turn out as good as I hoped.
I am working on this figure a bit now and I think it’s going to look even better than it did just now. I’m just adding the details and trying to get this one to a good point. I
