It’s true that one study found that some people do get burned in a high fat diet, but the problem wasn’t with the food. Instead it was with the way the food was prepared. In particular a high fat diet caused people to feel dizzy and nauseous. This is because the fat in foods and fat in the oils in the foods caused them to burn.
Here’s what you need to think about: when you’re eating fat you’re absorbing some of the fat into the body. Fat in other foods is being broken down into smaller and smaller particles and as the particles get smaller they become more and more dense until they get to the center of the food. This is why when you eat fat you’re getting some of the fat into the body. But you’re absorbing some of it too, and because the fats in foods are also becoming denser the fat is becoming harder to absorb. This makes the energy of the food more difficult to be turned into energy, so it burns.
This is why a fat filled dish is usually a really boring meal in the first place: your stomach can’t absorb the energy of the fat because it’s getting bigger and bigger and hard to get the energy out of the food.
This is why when you take a fat filled dish out of the oven and set it out on the counter it looks like an attractive piece of work: you just ate two or three pieces of a really good dish and some of it had already turned to fat, which makes it look like a delicious treat.
A meal where the fat is mostly gone will be like a dessert, not worth eating.
